Purpose of the role:
- The primary purpose of this role is to design, develop, and implement Microsoft
Dynamics 365, Power Apps, and SharePoint solutions that align with business
objectives and enhance organizational efficiency. This role focuses on strategic
customization, integration, and deployment of Microsoft solutions while ensuring
technical excellence, best practices adherence, and stakeholder collaboration. The
position is key in equipping the organization with innovative and robust Microsoft
solutions to meet evolving business needs.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to analyse requirements and translate them into
effective Dynamics 365, - Power Apps, and SharePoint solutions.
- Customize and develop Dynamics 365 to align with business needs, ensuring high
quality and scalable code using .NET programming languages. - Integrate existing systems and services into the CRM architecture to optimize
connectivity and data flow. - Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including
testing, deployment, and continuous improvement. - Provide technical leadership, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best
practices. - Conduct code reviews and support peer developers to enhance solution integrity and
performance. - Develop technical solution designs and implementation plans tailored to business
requirements. - Enhance development, testing, and release processes using tools and frameworks to
improve efficiency in - Dynamics 365, Power Apps, and SharePoint delivery.
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for ongoing development and
operational needs. - Act as a technical resource during client interactions, product demonstrations, and
requirement discussions. - Provide expert-level support for applications, troubleshooting, and resolving complex
issues. - Collaborate with Product Managers, analysts, and cross-functional teams to
implement best practices and ensure strategic alignment. - Participate in requirements analysis.
- Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture.
- Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages.
- Test and deploy Dynamics 365, Power Apps, and SharePoint solutions.
- Revise, update, refactor, and debug code.
- Conduct code reviews within the team.
- Improve and refine existing solutions.
- Develop relevant documentation throughout the software development life cycle
(SDLC). - Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support.
- Gather technical requirements and propose solutions based on the business’s needs.
- Work with technology and business teams to define project specifications.
- Develop technical solution designs and implementation plans.
- Interact with both prospective and current customers during product demos and
evaluations. - Enhance development, testing, and release processes; develop tools and frameworks to ensure robust and high-quality Dynamics 365 implementations.
- Participate in the full development lifecycle process.
Skills and Qualifications required
- Bachelor’s degree – Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- Relevant certifications in Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and MS Azure.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience implementing and managing enterprise-level
Microsoft Dynamics CRM/Dynamics 365 solutions. - Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 customer service, sales, and marketing
modules, including canvas and model-driven apps. - Proficiency in Power Platform tools, including Power Automate, Power Apps, and
Power Pages. - Knowledge/Use of XrmToolBox would be advantageous.
- In-depth knowledge of SharePoint integration, connectivity, security, and repository
management. - Experience with ASP.NET framework, SQL Server, and modern design patterns
(e.g., MVC). - Proficient in .NET languages (e.g., C#, Visual Basic .NET) and web technologies
(HTML5/CSS3). - Knowledge of API development and architecture styles (REST, RPC, XML, JSON).
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Ability to develop and implement custom solutions using Power Apps and Power
Automate. - Strong knowledge of SharePoint application development.
- Understanding of SharePoint’s UI, business intelligence, collaboration, and content
management. - Familiarity with design patterns (Singleton, DAO, Façade, Factory Lookup).
- Proficiency in UI design principles (reuse, structure, feedback, visibility).
- Strong experience developing standards-compliant applications using HTML, CSS,
JavaScript/jQuery, JSON, and XML/XSL. - Expertise in Microsoft ASP.NET and SSRS, SQL Server data management and
Dynamics CRM architecture. - Experience with CRM integrations and data migration.
- Have experience with using Dynamics Data migration tools
