A well-established Financial Service Provider is seeking a Solutions Architect in Johannesburg North:

Role Purpose:

The position is for a Solutions Designer to take on business technical problem resolution and define development processes for execution.

Minimum Requirements

• Matric
• IT Qualification / MCITP and / or relevant certification
• 5+ years’ Solutions design experience
• Strong technical lead experience
• Problem solver
• Solid Integration experience
• Using technologies such as Websphere, Java, C#, .Net, Angular, Cobol, IOS /Android
• Banking experience
• Good communication skills
• Ability to deal with all levels

Responsibilities:

• To see bigger picture and understand what problems would possibly be encountered in few years’ time
• To prevent bottle necks and think 2 to 3 sprints forward
• 80% hands on technical delivery
• 20% architecture
• Person has to take a problem, create a solution and drive with the execution team until completion
• Must take technical leadership role
• Work with developers concurrently on solutions development
• Must have technical credibility with the team.
• Interact with SMEs in various technical areas.
• End to end solution
