A large financial Service Company based in Johannesburg seeks a Senior Financial Business Analyst with:

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Quantitative Analytics, Financial Engineering or Maths of Finance
• Minimum Five Years as a Quantitative Analyst
• Effective Analytics – Analysis, Measurement & Insights
• SQL, SAS, IMB DB2, C++. Python, VB.Net
• Advanced Queries & Big Data Sets
• Excel Advanced
• Boolean & Programming
• Effective Stakeholder Management and Partnering

Role Purpose:

This role the candidate will create bespoke & ad-hoc reporting in line with client needs.

Responsibilities:

• Understanding the lifecycle of product management – from onboarding, activation, anniversaries, attrition, events, pressure points etc.
• Conducting exploratory analysis based on various business needs and various business cases presented
• Providing quality meaningful data into pre, active and post campaign activities
• Conducting detailed deep dive into big data on SAS and subsequent exporting into Excel to create client specific understandable presentations and solutions
• This position presents an exciting opportunity to proactively propose solutions to the Corporate Card Divisions
