A large financial Service Company based in Johannesburg seeks a Systems Integrator with:

 Minimum Requirements

• Bcom in IT
• Junior to Medium level project manager.
• Must have 3 – 5 years project management experience and excellent stakeholder relationship management.
• Experience within Insurance and banking environment.
• 2 years people management experience.

Role Purpose:

To lead; innovate; manage; mentor and coordinate the integration team in the development; implementation and optimisation of new and existing systems within Company Insurance in order to achieve business objectives and mitigate risk.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure transformational target are met.
• Contribute to a culture of transformation by participating in Company culture building initiatives, business strategy, and CSI. Stay abreast of developments in field of expertise, ensuring personal and professional growth.
• Understand and embrace the Company vision and values, leading by example.
• Participate in the development and implement action plans to address issues raised in culture surveys.
• Create a client service culture.
• Achieve operational excellence.
• Encourage team to generate innovative ideas and share knowledge.
• Manage performance of staff by implementing performance agreements and ensuring a clear vision.
• Mentor and coach staff on identified performance gaps.
• Motivate staff to perform and contribute to the success of the business by creating environment of teamwork through engaging with staff (sharing information) and encouraging participation in decision making processes.
• Follow the recruitment process when recruiting talent.
• Maintain a high performing team and ensure an environment for optimal performance is created by identifying talent pool through career conversations, using the talent grid principles and developing talent retention programmes.
• Manage the onboarding process of new employees.
• Manage stakeholder requirements, relationships, expectations and strategic objectives.
• Manage the resolution of production incidents.
• Ensure effective business continuity.
• Manage the implementation of various treasury and market systems.
• Manage effective change and release management.
• Manage the security and regulatory compliance of systems.
• Manage work quality and ensure the Optimal Functioning of systems are achieved.
• Manage timely delivery of team targets.
• Manage cost.
