A large financial Service Company based in Johannesburg, seeks a Business Analyst with:
Minimum Requirements
· Bcom/ Diploma IT or IS
· Qualification in Business Analysis or Project Management
· 2 years in a Business Analyst, Data analysis, Solution analysis or AGILE behaviour
Understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing and ETL framework
Familiarity with BI technologies
Knowledge of SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services
Role:
Designing, developing and maintaining business intelligence solutions. Crafting and executing queries upon request for data. Presenting information through reports and visualization. Interpret business data requirements. Assist Analysts to analyse, innovate, and provide predictive analytics on significant amounts of data to support company initiatives. Interview end users to determine requirements for data, reports, analyses, metadata, training, service levels, data quality, and performance. Translate requirements into technical specifications. Document requirements. Help identify and assess potential data sources. Recommend appropriate scope of requirements and priorities. Validate that landscape and solution meets requirements and service level agreements. Coordinate prototype reviews. Gather prototype feedback
