A large financial Service Company based in Johannesburg CBD seeks an Actuarial/ Quantitive analyst with:

Minimum Requirements

• Degree in Actuarial
• 3-5 years’ experience in Actuarial or Quant environment
• SAS or SQL coding and data manipulation
• You will need to send your Varsity Transcripts.
• Experience in Excel and VBA.
• Ability to build new models as well as make improvements to existing processes.

Role Purpose:

Build Actuarial, statistical and financial models in support of the group and the greater COMPANY. Perform advanced analytics to support strategic business decisions.

 Responsibilities:

• Building models and performing analytics for the various areas within the group e.g. Travel, Shop, Call Centre, Retail partners.
• Providing rewards analytics to the greater Company Business units.
• Aid the development of customer value propositions that are financially sound.
• Develop future rewards models and mechanisms to support ongoing profitability and rewards generosity.
• Building rewards models for the Company businesses positioned across Africa.
