One of our clients in the Software sector are looking for a Software Delivery Manager to join their team.
About the Position
We are in search of a seasoned Software Delivery Manager to become a part of our team. As the Software Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the end-to-end delivery of software projects. Act as a facilitator, communicator and problem solver to ensure software development projects are delivered at a high level of quality and efficiency. This position requires the candidate to work closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, quality assurance engineers, product managers, designers, and business stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
EXPERIENCE
More than 10 years’ experience in the development of software solutions, including:
• At least 5 years’ experience working as a developer.
• At least 5 years’ experience working as an analyst.
• At least 5 years’ experience working as a project manager.
The following experience will be an advantage:
• Azure Devops.
• Continuous delivery & continuous deployment.
• Delivery of web-based solution based on .NET
• Work experience in the electricity industry.
Typical Duties and Responsibilities
Project Planning:
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and requirements.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation in coordination with team leads and technical managers.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Team Coordination:
• Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members based on their skills and expertise.
• Foster a collaborative and productive work environment by promoting effective communication and teamwork.
• Act as a point of contact for addressing team concerns and resolving conflicts.
Progress Monitoring:
• Regularly track project progress and milestones against the project plan.
• Use project management tools to monitor tasks, timelines, and resource utilization.
• Provide updates to stakeholders on project status, highlighting accomplishments and potential roadblocks.
Scope Management:
• Ensure that project scope is well-defined and documented, preventing scope creep.
• Assess and manage changes to project scope, evaluating their potential impact on timelines and resources.
Risk Management:
• Identify potential risks and issues that could impact project
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions to the project timeline.
Quality Assurance:
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to establish testing plans and ensure that software meets quality standards.
• Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and gather feedback from stakeholders to ensure alignment with requirements.
Client/Stakeholder Communication:
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders regarding project updates, issues, and resolutions.
• Manage expectations by communicating project progress, potential delays, and changes in scope.
Resource Management:
• Optimize resource allocation and utilization to ensure efficient project delivery.
• Identify and address resource gaps or constraints that could impact project timelines.
Continuous Improvement:
• Analyse project performance post-delivery to identify areas for improvement.
• Share lessons learned and best practices with the team to enhance future projects.
Documentation:
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, requirements, decisions, and communication records.
Budget Oversight:
• Work within established project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
Adaptation to Change:
• Be flexible and adaptive in a dynamic environment, adjusting plans and strategies as needed based on evolving
