Requirements Gathering and Analysis
Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to meticulously elicit and document business requirements for new and existing systems
Define business processes (as-is and to-be), perform gap analysis and solution requirements
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document customer specific requirements related to the implementation of the Trading & Market service offerings (system integration, dashboards and reporting etc.). Design And Specification Development
Design functional specifications for customer requirements using the organisational standard for specification development
Perform object and data modelling and design to support requirement specifications. Project Management and Collaboration
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business, IT, analysts, customers, and development teams to ensure requirements are accurately implemented
Participate in project planning, providing timelines and resource estimates for business analysis deliverables
Actively contribute to a supportive and collaborative atmosphere to facilitate successful project outcomes.
Quality Assurance and Testing:
Develop test cases to validate that requirements are met
Collaborate closely with Quality Assurance teams to identify and resolve issues effectively Continuous Improvement
Continuously seek improvements in processes and systems functionality
Stay updated with the latest trends in analysis techniques, system integration techniques and the relevant technologies used in the organization. User Training and Support
Provide training to end-users on solutions and processes
Deliver ongoing support, addressing user inquiries and optimising system usage Documentation
Establish and maintain comprehensive documentation for processes, specifications, and solutions contributing to the internal knowledge base
Ensure documentation is accessible and serves as a valuable resource for relevant stakeholders
Ensure documents conform to the organisational standards and quality requirements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
Certification of Capability in Business Analysis (CCBA)
Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification
SAFe and/or Agile Certification beneficial
Experience:
5+ years’ experience in business analysis
Proven experience in implementation of large projects
Exposure to/experience in the energy or electricity industries will be an advantage
