SAP BPC Team Lead

A large financial Service Company based in Sandton seeks a SAP BPC Team Lead with:

 

Minimum requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Financial Consolidation and Reporting Process knowledge.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Planning and/or Financial Consolidations technical solution experience
  • Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
  • Educated to a degree level (or equivalent) or relevant experience
  • BPC 10 or 10.1 certification
  • BW certification will be an advantage
  • Proven success in contributing within a team environment
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Client-facing experience across a variety of industries
  • Hands-on delivery in major IT Transformation Programmes
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Strong consulting acumen anticipated.
  • Strong career progression to date
  • You must be willing to be Johannesburg based, but be fully mobile, i.e. prepared to work away from home Monday to Friday as required
  • 3 to 4 years in managing  teams with experience across  functional teams
  • 7 -10 years IT related experience
  • At least 5 years of hands-on technical SAP BW and BPC (version 7 or higher) experience is required.
  • Advanced working knowledge of SAP BW and BPC, including script logic is required.
  • Good understanding of SAP ECC, specifically FI.
  • Advantage to have experience in Business Objects, ABAP,  Banking and SAP FI Certification

 

Role Purpose/Responsibilities:

  • Strong understanding of planning, consolidation and reporting processes (banking an advantage).
  • Excellent insights to functional and technical aspects of SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) 10.0 and 10.1.
  • Good knowledge of accounting principles and standards e.g. IFRS.
  • Candidate shall be responsible for successful support and enhancements to the planning and consolidation solutions to our clients.
  • Ability to advice clients on SAP best practise solution architecture and independently design solution.
  • Ability to design and interpretation of reporting architecture for SAP BW, understanding of SAP ECC/ Non-SAP data structures and interfaces to SAP BW 7.4 BPC administration experience.
  • The candidate must be a team player, able to lead or manage a project as well as can work independently.
  • In-depth experience on design and configuration of BPC expected.
  • Experience on “BPC Classic” on BW  is highly desirable and additional experience of SAP ECC / BW is beneficial.
  • Implementation and delivery experience, which should include at least two full project lifecycles on SAP BPC 10.0 or 10.1
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Financial Consolidation and Reporting Process knowledge.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Planning and/or Financial Consolidations technical solution experience
