A large financial Service Company based in Johannesburg seeks a Database Administrator with:

Minimum Requirements

• Relevant Technology Certifications
  • MCSE, MCSA
• Minimum 5 years of combined DBA/ETL
• Insurance industry experience

Tools and Technologies

• SQL Server
  • Advanced T-SQL with a thorough understanding of performant queries and how to use indexes, CTE’s etc
  • Database design with solid understanding of the forms of normalization
  • Strong DBA skills
• SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
• Thorough understanding of various ETL patterns

• SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)

• Microstrategy experience advantageous.
