Require an experienced and knowledgeable External Sales Engineer to professionally sell a range of test and measurement solutions products to mainly professional people through consultancy and good customer relations.
Qualifications required:
Electronics Engineering Diploma/Degree or equivalent industry experience
An advantage to have completed Selling and Negotiating Skills Training
Experience:
At least 3 years of experience in selling test solutions to telecom operators and other telecom related companies, such as fibre installers
Comfortable in discussing and selling measurement solutions in the telecom environment from POTS to 100GigE
Good understanding of technical terms and acronyms used in telecomm and T&M markets

Assist in developing and implementing business plans and also assist with sales forecasts

Grow orders and the revenue through new business ventures and maintain strong customer relationship with existing clients
Have a broad knowledge of typical telecom test products and good understanding of customer requirements to meet their needs
Take ownership of accounts
Able to negotiate at high levels to obtain win-win results
Be able to solve problems with an understanding of the risks and consequences
Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes
Other requirements
Must have valid driver’s licence and own reliable and respectable car
Willing to travel outside South Africa, as far as Nigeria
