| Focus and nature of position: |
1) To identify, analyse, monitor and report on risks relating to: · Enterprise wide technology environment and architecture· Core banking, line-of-business and other operational systems· Information and Network Security· Physical and Logical Security· Systems Development Lifecycle· Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery 2) Research into and assistance with implementation of: · Technology related legislative and compliance requirements· Information risk, security standards and policies 3) Involvement in Systems Development Projects: · System risk identification and mitigation strategies· Application control reviews 4) Facilitation of Business Continuity Planning: · Maintenance and implementation of plans· Coordinate business continuity testing· Testing of the disaster recovery plan and infrastructure· Regular reporting to the BCM Steering Committee 5) Performing audits as well as regular monitoring of internal/ external audit findings 6) Representation in project, process forums as well as Risk and Technology committees. 7) Collaboration with business units in all of the above |

2. Candidate Profile (Job Specification):
| Experience & background |
Minimum of 2-3 years experience in an information technology environment. Risk and business analysis experience as well as project management skills are essential. |
| Typical minimumqualifications |
· Relevant degree in Informatics, Information Systems or Computer Science· Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) qualification preferable |
