Key Purpose:
The BA is responsible for thoroughly understanding, researching, defining, documenting and delivering appropriate business and systems solutions.
•They are responsible for ensuring solutions are effective, meet business requirements, in accordance with quality standards and are timeously implemented.
•The Business Analyst will play the role of project manager, as well as systems analyst, and will be expected to liaise with developers.
Key Outputs:
Analyse, investigate and document business requirements
•Compile Use Cases for functional specifications
•Ensure sign off of documentation
•Prepare project plan with detailed milestones
•Arrange work sessions with architects/technical leads and developers to ensure best solution is put in place in order to satisfy the business requirements.
•Manage the development to ensure there is delivery as per the project plan
•Generate test plan
• Conduct functional and integrated testing, and liaise with business to complete user acceptance testing
•Follow through to implementation
•Communicate the progress of projects
•Provide training to business users
•Manage risks and issues
•Propose new and improved processes
