Job Purpose

Network and Systems / Job Scheduling and monitoring / Data Analysis / manipulation

Working Experience:

• 3 years experience with Windows 2000/2003 and Active Directory.

• Exchange 2003 and Citrix Presentation Server is a plus.

• HP server and SAN storage knowledge is important, but not essential.

• Knowledge of XML technology. 

The following systems need to be maintained:

• IIS 6/7

• SQL 2000/2008 (Database maintenance)

• Unix Solaris 10 / IBM AIX 6 with VIO

• Progress Databases

• VM ESX servers

• Windows Active Directory

• Citrix

Qualifications and Training:

Matric

MCSE or applicable Tertiary Qualification

Unix, Linux or AIX Skills

VMWare/Hyper-Visor  (nice to have)

Key Performance Areas:

Adherence to Dead-Lines

Uptime orientated

Maintain Outstanding Items/To-Do List

Adhere to system version controls
